Gathering stories of Milwaukeeans in their own Words
Milwaukee, WI, October 3, 2017: As part of a cross-country listening tour, HuffPost (huffpost.com) will be visiting Walnut Way’s Innovations and Wellness Commons (IWC) in Milwaukee’s Lindsay Heights neighborhood on Friday, October 6th, from 12pm-3pm at 1617 W. North Avenue. HuffPost will set up their mobile studio in the parking lot of IWC between 12pm-3pm. All are welcome to visit and be interviewed.
HuffPost is visiting 25 cities across the U.S. to listen to Americans and highlight personal stories and perspectives to better understand what unites – rather than divides – the country. The goal is to accurately, humanely, and emotionally capture the concerns, hopes, and dreams of everyday Americans. Along the way, HuffPost will create engaging stories, from first-person interviews to impactful deep dives. The “Listen To America” tour will use video, podcasting, newsletter, chatbot, text, in-person activations and HuffPost’s massively powerful social media channels to highlight communities and issues.
