In 2018 we are continuing our partnership with Sixteenth Street Community Health Center to improve soil quality and reduce lead hazards in urban gardening. Our Growing Health Soil for Healthy Communities Workshops (GHS) offer residents on the North and South side of Milwaukee to learn ways to reduce hazards from contaminants, test soil, and learn about special topics in gardening. Workshops take place at Walnut Way and other locations throughout the City of Milwaukee. We will kick-off our GHS Workshops at Walnut Way on Saturday, May 12th from 10:00AM – 12:00PM.
