Afrowellness is partnering with Walnut Way to provide more meaningful wellness programs for women of color. The new program, The HealSpace, is a safe community that focuses on the overall well-being of millennial women of color through mindfulness and connection. The idea was birthed by the need to offer quality wellness resources to women of color within the Milwaukee and surrounding area.
Sessions are held once a month for 2 hours and are hosted by Afrowellness founder, Jay Dean. These sessions invite participants to settle into a space to be seen, heard, and held in love, honor, and respect. Dean will explore various topics pertaining to overall wellness, expression, and nurture healthy relationships among other women. Sessions are focused on intentional topics and close with meditation.
The first session will be held, Sunday, November 4th from 1:00pm-3:00pm at Walnut Way. Registration is required at: bit.ly/experiencehealspace
