About the Project:

Walnut Way is showcasing its environmental stewardship initiatives through civic engagement in a unique environmental tour, which is part of a larger Lindsay Heights Neighborhood Eco Tour map and signage initiative. Walnut Way worked with the Milwaukee Environmental Collaboration Office (ECO) on the project and has received ECO Neighborhood certification from the City of Milwaukee, further cementing the neighborhood’s focus on environmental sustainability. This project is a continuation of Walnut Way’s vision of an environmentally sustainable community with an emphasis on environmental and economic justice.
