Just four years ago, Maanaan and JoAnne Sabir started The Juice Kitchen in Walnut Way’s Innovations and Wellness Commons on 16th and North Avenue, with a big idea: nurture the community with fresh juice. Their passion for health and wellness, and juice has brought lasting vitality to the neighborhood. Over the past four years, the business grew. In 2018, they opened a full-service coffee shop, juice bar and restaurant at the new Sherman Phoenix which offered the space for expansion. The Juice Kitchen/Shindig Coffee on North Avenue is now closed to the public and will be solely focused on production for their Sherman Phoenix location until this fall.
Although we will miss the Juice Kitchen a.k.a. Shindig Coffee, we are proud of the growth of this important business and being a part of its development over the last several years. As owners of the Innovations and Wellness Commons, Walnut Way is very excited about the opportunity to host a new budding business in this location in the future! The highly attractive space with retail storefront and access to an onsite commercial kitchen makes way for a variety of tenants.
