The Walnut Way campus is fully active with vegetables and fruit growing and staff and interns working the fields. The Lindsay Heights community and visitors are welcome to visit us in a variety of ways:
Volunteer with Us:
The campus is full of fruit orchards and now the cherry trees are close to harvest time. We are seeking volunteers in the next few weeks to support harvesting. If you are interested, please complete the volunteer interest form and Deaduri Gales will follow up with you. If you have any questions related to volunteering please contact Deaduri@walnutway.org.
Free Community Gardens Plots:
Lindsay Heights residents are welcome to sign up for a free garden space at Walnut Way where you can grow your own fruit and vegetables this season. Space is limited. Please contact Angela Kingsawan at akingsawan@walnutway.org to sign up.
Self-Guided Tour:
Take a self-guided tour through the Walnut Way campus using our Open Gardens map. Highlights include beekeeping, fruit tree orchards, a corn maze and pumpkin patch, and a hoop house. While the Walnut Way Center is closed to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic, you can still wander through the gardens and maintain social distance on your own.
