Data Day, hosted by Data You Can Use, provides an opportunity for leaders, from neighborhoods to universities, to better understand what data are available, the implications of data on community revitalization, and how to increase connections between research and practice.

Walnut Way was a recipient of a Data You Can Use Award that allowed us to gather data around housing in the Lindsay Heights Neighborhood. A research team from Northwestern Mutual Data Science Institute worked with Walnut Way to collect valuable data around housing, crime, rental affordability, schools, and property values. Executive Director, Antonio Butts, will present at Data Day’s Ignite Series about the research project and collaboration on Wednesday, October 21st.
