Walnut Way is partnering with RENEW Wisconsin to learn about barriers to Black, Indigenous and People of Color to access to install solar energy in their homes.
Black, indigenous, Latino, and other people of color are disproportionately impacted by climate change, air pollution, and energy costs and face unequal barriers in adopting solar energy. Access to renewable energy, through roof-top installations and/or participation in community solar programs, can help address these inequities. We would like to learn more about your experiences with renewable energy with a short online survey.
Once you have completed the survey you will be eligible to receive a $5 Amazon e-gift card.
In addition to the on-line survey, we are interested in interviewing members of the community on the phone or video conference call. Interviews will take 30 minutes to 1 hour. Interviews will be conducted at your convenience between March 16 – April 12. Please fill out this form if you are interested in participating in an interview. After completing the interview you will be eligible to receive a $5 Amazon e-gift card.
