It all started with a pair of roller skates. To earn money for roller skates, Kyric Burt set up a lemonade stand at her mom’s rummage sale. With a little post on social media, customers flocked to the lemonade stand for a cold glass of the nine-year-old’s lemonade. Founded in summer of 2019, Kyric’s Lemonade specialized in fresh, made-to-order lemonades in a variety of flavors. The company was founded by 9-year-old Kyric Burt with support from her inspirational mother, Nikki. Kyric’s cousin, My’chree Harris, created the custom labels for the bottles. They feature different monsters with lemons which are “cute, not scary” according to Kyric. Lemonade can be ordered direct or purchased at her uncle’s convenience store, Williams Pantry at 10732 West Hampton. Kyric’s goal is to grow her business and help the community.
