Please join us for an informational session and release of the petition for the formation of the Lindsay Heights NID. The formation of a NID will allow residents to take control of the neighborhood in which they live, work and play. NID’s also stimulate and create connectivity while offering opportunities for residents to gain leadership and empowerment to move the neighborhood forward in a positive and productive way.

Community Wealth Building Status Report Winter 2021

For the past 1.5 years Walnut Way and other community organizations in Milwaukee’s Lindsay Heights neighborhood have been implementing a resident centered, neighborhood focused development strategy called Community Wealth Building (CWB). CWB addresses the missing piece of many local economic development efforts: the skills, talents and gifts of residents – in other words their assets. This is where we start.

#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving. Whether it’s in our city, state, nation, or around the world — people use this day to kick off the giving season by inspiring others to collaborate, show up, and give back to the issues and communities we care about the most.

In a “normal” year, you’d see a fair amount of Giving Tuesday emails in your inbox. However, COVID-19 and its effects on nonprofit revenues and operations means many more organizations in Milwaukee and beyond need financial support.
