Financial Literacy workshop for youth (15 and older)

Join Executive Director Antonio Butts for a 7 part monthly series on financial literacy for ages 15 and older. Discover the tools and language used to create wealth and understand financial literacy with Junior Achievement curriculum. This informative hands-on curriculum will provide activities to learn financial literacy concepts that help you manifest a strong foundation for your entrepreneurial and/or professional dream. Each month, the following topics will be explored:

  • Economic Systems: Who makes the big decisions and how you are included? - July 30
  • Supply and Demand: What's it worth to you? - August, TBD
  • Supply and Demand: Learn when Scarcity is a good thing. - September, TBD
  • Saving and Investing: Every Penny Counts. - October, TBD
  • Government's Role in the Market - Learn how much control the everyday person has in the market November, TBD
  • Money, Inflation, and the CPI - Learn how this terminology affects urban living December, TBD
  • International Trade Learn how Milwaukee is a Global City and why its important to you- January, TBD
