Walnut Way is creating spaces and conditions required for residents to organize and establish a unified voice to drive solutions to our housing, commercial corridors, and economic mobility challenges in Lindsay Heights. Neighborhood Improvement Districts (NID’s) are a powerful tool for “community control” and resident governance over municipal resources to invest in services and infrastructure, foster leadership, and offers opportunities for collaboration within the neighborhood among homeowners, renters, and businesses.

The Lindsay Heights NID is focused on supporting long-term economic growth and sustainability. The Lindsay Heights NID would serve its residents, homeowners, business owners, community-based organizations, neighborhood schools, community churches, and more.

Walnut Way is working with resident leaders to establish a Neighborhood Improvement District (NID) Committee for Lindsay Heights.  The NID committee will support the implementation process of forming a NID.  We are also circulating a petition in support of the creation of the Lindsay Heights NID.

For more information on how to become a volunteer, committee member, or supporter of the Lindsay Heights Neighborhood Improvement District, please contact one of the Lindsay Heights NID team members listed below.
