Walnut Way’s Neighbor Night are monthly cooking and nutrition classes by Nutritionist Bridgett Wilder & Chef Anomolous Campbell to help participants on their wellness journey. All classes are free thanks to support from American Cancer Society. Classes will include a variety of topics and activities including:

  • cooking demos
  • field trips to the grocery store
  • processed food intake
  • organic, conventional, and irradiated foods
  • meal prepping
  • food labels
  • budget friendly healthy foods

Chef Anomalous Campbell is an imaginative and healthy full service chef and owner of Anomaly Catering. She is also a strong leader of Walnut Way’s Healing Circle. In the past few years she’s started her own catering company offering fresh and innovative cuisine.

 

 

 

Nutritionist, Bridgett Wilder, is a north side Milwaukee resident who became a widow at the age of 36 with nine children, ages 4 months to 16 years. In 2018 she graduated from Mt. Mary University with a degree in dietetics and launched Perseverance Health and Wellness Coaching and Consultation Services, LLC., that helps individuals improve their health by way of nutrition. Participants will learn how to eat your way into good health and prevent disease with nutrition.

How to Participate

Participants can drop in to each session. Registration is not required.

Fall Schedule 5:30 pm-7:30 pm on select dates
Tuesday, Sept 24 (meet at fresh thyme DOWNTOWN)
Thursdays: Oct 10, Nov 14, Dec 12
