Walnut Way works to create career opportunities in environmental fields, through urban agriculture and landscaping. We are expanding our efforts in an emerging field, the solar industry by creating a pipeline to education and career pathways for communities of color.
Historically, the solar industry is unrepresented for communities of color. Our aim is to act as a bridge between our community and the clean energy industry by partnering with MREA. MREA will provide training and internship opportunities at Walnut Way, virtually and in-person.
Limited scholarships will be available to remove any additional hardships to access this opportunity.
