For the past 1.5 years Walnut Way and other community organizations in Milwaukee’s Lindsay Heights neighborhood have been implementing a resident centered, neighborhood focused development strategy called Community Wealth Building (CWB). The directory represents just some of the amazing economic activity we that’s been gathered and supported in the Lindsay Heights neighborhood. We hope to update it monthly and will be seeking new entries.

Milwaukee native, Basia Spencer, has been designing, creating, and selling her stylish dresses since 2015 and is moving into her first brick and mortar store at The Innovations and Wellness Commons, Walnut Way’s development project. Join in celebration at Basia Rose Designs Boutique, Saturday, December 8th, at its Grand Opening Trunk Show from 2:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m. at 1617 W. North Avenue (formerly The Outpost Natural Foods Learning and Event Center Space).
