Docket 5-UR-112 · Wisconsin Public Service Commission
Why this hearing matters
We Energies has asked the Public Service Commission to raise electric rates by $277.9 million — about $13 more per month for the average household — starting January 1, 2027, with another increase in 2028. Data centers, capital projects, and fuel costs are all in the mix. The commissioners have to hear from us before they decide.
The public hearing is the one moment the process is built around community voices. Any We Energies customer can testify — two to three minutes on the record, straight to the commissioners. Your words become part of the official case file the PSC must review before setting the rates that show up on our bills.
