We Energies is asking the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSC) for permission to raise electric and natural gas rates again in 2027 and 2028.

If approved, a typical residential customer could pay about $22 more each month by 2028 - roughly $260 more every year - on top of the significant rate increases customers have already experienced.

For families already struggling with high energy bills, these increases are more than numbers. They can mean choosing between keeping the lights on, buying groceries, paying rent, or filling a prescription.

And as We Energies plans new infrastructure to meet growing electricity demand - including demand from massive data centers - we need to make sure everyday families are not left paying the bill for infrastructure that primarily benefits large corporate energy users.
