About the event
The Wisconsin Office of Sustainability and Clean Energy is partnering with Walnut Way and Beecham Community Center to host a Regional WI-CAN in person gathering this January! We plan to use this time to learn from the organizations in Milwaukee working on environmental justice initiatives, discuss regional priorities and review the soon to be released Comprehensive Climate Action Plan. We will be convening at Canaan Baptist Church from 4pm-7:30pm on January 14th and at The Black Holocaust Museum from 9am - 3:30pm on January 15th. Collaboration and connection across sectors and regions are what make this network unique, and we hope you're excited to learn about the great work happening in Milwaukee. This event is open to all, whether you are a part of the WI-CAN Network or not, so come ready to meet new people and get inspired!
