Walnut Way Conservation Corp, a community organization, is actively involved in the Microsoft Airband Initiative. For the past two years, they have implemented a pilot project by installing a Microsoft Airband Wi-Fi antenna on top of the Innovation and Wellness Commons. This initiative aims to provide affordable internet access within a radius of two to three square miles, benefiting the surrounding community, including Walmart. Walnut Way Conservation Corp collaborates with partner organizations to address issues of accessibility, affordability, and digital literacy, specifically focusing on internet access and education.
